This has been such a fun spring and summer here in the studio! I am beyond excited to share a quick peek at the collection that recently arrived in Atlanta at Huff Harrington! Even more excited to to say there are a few more paintings being loaded up on the van and heading down next week! Thank you Huff Harrington for your constant support! It is hard to believe that I have been represented at the fabulous Huff Harrington for a decade. Ten years ago, on a wing and a prayer, I submitted work for review a few months after Ann and Meg opened their doors. I quickly got a phone call and they were over the moon with the way I painted. There was a big BUT and that was my palette. It was two bright and intense. I went back to work and created a grayed down series and we were off.
They have supported me through thick and thin and lots of growth. I have always been proud of the talent that HH represents and the integrity they have maintained in this crazy art world. They always protect their artists and are mindful of work that is authentic and original. Because of this I think I have pushed myself more to be a better artist over the years. I really appreciate all the hard work of everyone at Huff Harrington Fine Art and Huff Harrington Home. I could not have achieved this level of success without you guys. Thank you and I look forward to another ten years!

Winter Storm Jonas came blowing through the south last weekend and closed down Atlanta and Huff Harrington’s launch party for the Grand Affair Show! No need to worry my friends, all the wonderful small works are being sold online at http://huffharrington.com/collections/curators-picks and this Thursday, January 28th from 6 – 8pm they will be hosting a party at their location at 4240 Rickenbacker Drive in Atlanta. I am thrilled to hitting the road again, to head down to Atlanta to my favorite gallery, Huff Harrington. On January 22, 2016, they will be hosting their annual “Grand Affair” event from 6 – 8pm and all paintings will be one grand or less!

Santa’s Sleigh is all loaded and on it’s way to Atlanta to Huff Harrington! The sleigh is full with nine new paintings just in time for the holidays! I am thrilled to have been included in this prestigious interior design showcase and in Tish's beautiful room. The art market is hopping in Atlanta! My driver is loaded up again and headed to Huff Harrington -- third trip since November 2013! Here is a sneak peak of what is arriving on Thursday, February 19th!

Once a year I paint a few small paintings for this great event. All paintings are under $1000. Here is a preview. Even a 10X10 nude from Provincetown.
So I return from Provincetown very excited to continue to explore the abstracted nude.
I finished up a couple that I started during the workshop and sent the images to a couple of galleries and they were politely declined. The common comment being that they LOVED them but felt they did not have the market for them.
So in other words we cannot sell your nudes.
I have been in this business long enough to know that what one market cannot sell there is another market that can. So my forever faithful Atlanta gallery, Huff Harrington, applauded my new nudes and sold them both to a "famous" local designer within the week.
I just had to go further south.
They are eager for more and I am thrilled to have a new venue to explore light, texture and abstraction. I somehow feel like the real deal when I am working from life and having a true conversation with my canvas.
