Thursday May 18th from 6-8pm, you will be able to find me at ArtSource Fine Art located at 4421-123 Six Forks Road Raleigh NC! ArtSource will be hosting a show called "A Moment In Time" that will run from May 18 - June 16 and it will feature Sharon Bass and myself. Everyone at ArtSource have been such wonderful supporters of my work and I am excited to be spending an evening in Raleigh! Please come visit if you are in the area!

On April 18-20, 2015, Angela Nesbit will present "Painting the Still Life & Figure: Breaking Down the Basics", a three-day painting workshop at Tyler White O'Brien Gallery in Greensboro. Space is limited and will fill quickly. Registration fee: $400 (50% non-refundable deposit).

Hosted by The Art School in Sandy Springs in Atlanta, this 3-day workshop, "Exploring the Surface: Painting the Still Life & Figure", will cover topics including Value Studies, Color Theory, Simplification , Application: Brush and Palette Knife, Painting the Figure from Photographs (optional), Painting Still Life from Life, and Additional Intermediate and Advanced Painting Concepts. Thanks to Kathy O'Brien at Tyler White O'Brien Gallery and everyone who participated in an action-packed weekend in Greensboro in April! It is always a treat to come home to Greensboro and I loved meeting the artists and collectors that joined us for the Lunch & Learn Demonstration, my Sunday Still Life Workshop, and for our Saturday Night Reception. The "Local Ties" exhibition included the works of Charlotte artist Jenny Fuller and Frank Russell, both Greensboro natives, and ran through May 14.
Charlotte artist Angela Dewar Nesbit returns to her hometown of Greensboro on April 26 for “A Weekend with Angela Nesbit”, an exhibition of her work at Tyler White O’Brien Gallery, 307 State Street.
On April 27, 9-4, Nesbit will present "Painting the Still Life", a one-day painting workshop. Space is limited. Registration fee: $125 ($50 non-refundable deposit). To register, contact Kathy O’Brien at 336-279-1124 or info@tylerwhitegallery.com.
The gallery will also host an Artist’s Reception on April 26 from 6-8pm and a "Lunch & Learn" figurative demo on April 26, 11:30-1:00. The exhibition will hang from April 19 through May 14.
