Hosted at Grandfather Mountain Golf and Country Club in Linville, NC, this 2-day oil painting workshop will provide an overview of topics such as color theory, composition, simplification and paint application.  Multiple still life set-ups will be available for students. Using a floral still life, Angela will demonstrate how to loosen up your paintings with both brush and palette knife. All levels are welcome.  

This 3-day workshop, "Exploring the Surface: Painting the Still Life & Figure", will cover topics including Color Theory, Composition, Simplification, Paint Application and Paint Surfaces. My emphasis will be about exploration and how to loosen up. I will use still life set-ups to demonstrate each day.
