25 Days of Paintings: The Countdown is On!!!!
My Courier, Carlos Devilla, will load up his sleigh on December 26th to head South with my newest series of paintings. I have been working on this series since I returned from Provincetown in June. My studies with Cynthia Packard inspired me to be more expressive and to create a conversation with my paintings. My intent was to have a less predictable journey in my painting process and to really try to respond to the canvas. At many points in the process, I had no idea whether I would have a great painting or a disaster. But I stayed on course and it is really exciting to see them in there final stages and coming together!! My drying rack is full and each day I will put the finishing touches on at least one painting. The race is on, and I will countdown my completion with a new painting post every day starting on December 1st until the Sleigh pulls out of Charlotte on December 26th. With a full rack of paintings and my Studio Elves ready to help I am hard at work during the Holiday Season. So Stay Tuned!!! If you have Christmas Presents in my studio don't worry I am hard at work on those as well!! Happy Holidays!!
"In The Studio" Originals Now Available Online
We are grateful to have frequent inquiries from collectors about our current inventory of available paintings. We typically have a handful of original works in the studio -- sometimes right off the easel, sometimes in transition from one gallery to another -- and we now have a page on the site where that constantly-rotating stock is listed.
These works can be purchased online using our on-site shopping cart, or you can contact Angela directly to discuss and purchase a painting. Paintings will be listed for a limited time; Check back frequently for new works.
The Wonderful Abundance of Commissions
The Spring of 2014 sprung an abundance of commission clients. It is as if the universe collaborates and tells everyone to call you at once. It has been wonderful to have such great clients to work with.
I have been busy all summer pouring over all the photos and notes I have from my clients to make sure I produce the perfect painting. I want to thank everyone for their support. The Glassners, McGlaughlins, Lockes, Kate Newman and Laura Archibald. Another batch has rolled in for the Fall, many of which are surprises so no names can be mentioned. What great husbands!
I am accepting two more commissions for Christmas deliver so do not wait if you are interested; Final deadline is October 15, 2014. Stay tuned for installation photos which are coming soon.

Sneak Peek: April Greensboro Show
I am excited to have shipped some great new paintings to Greensboro for hanging at Tyler White O'Brien. The show will hang on April 21st and we'll celebrate the opening with a reception on Saturday, April 26.
